  1. Coca-Cola Magnificent 5 Aluminum Bottles

In 2005, Coca-Cola developed a line of five collectible aluminum bottles Magnificent or M5.The soft-drink giant commissioned five different graphic design studios across the world to design the new line, which feature modern and hip design aimed at young and creative consumers. The five graphice films are: The Designer's Republic (UK),Lobo (Brazil), MK12 (United States ), Rex & Tennant Mckay (South Africa) and Caviar (Japan).

These new aluminum bottles will only be featured at "the world's most exclusive clubs and lounges". The bottles will be released first in Germany, Spain, Brazil, Mexico, and Italy. After one to two years Coca-Cola will decide whether or not to retire the designs.

Each bottle was released with a unique music video.

  2. Coca-Cola Faithless & Paranoid Aluminum Bottle

This Coke Faithless & Paranoid site has been around for a little while and has been described as a visual poetry application. It was created by the multidisciplinary collaboration of the music of Faithless, the video artists from Paranoid and the German interactive agency Argonauten. The process to create the site started with Paranoid and Argonauten creating the storyboard for the site that centers around Faithless character Mr. Neant. That story board was then given to Faithless who use the storyboard as inspiration for the music.

The site lets you create works of art using your keyboard, mouse, microphone and webcam. These devices will help you do things like define the shape, position, size and color of your personal artwork. Typing letters will make different shapes appear on the bottle. You can use the microphone to make the bottle shake and remove elements from the bottle. Different speeds of motion from the webcam will shuffle the elements on the bottle. The site uses a lot of elements of the Flash player I haven't seen in this combination before to create an engaging experience for a while but once I did it one time I didn't have any urge to do it again.

All of this artistic collaboration is to support a new limited aluminum bottle Coke has created with artwork from from collaboration. They used a new process to put UV ink on the aluminum so it it will glow in the dark and it is only being sold in the "hippest" clubs across Europe. Coke has been searching for a new and stronger brand position for a while so this It is an interesting start as they play to take the brand up scale with not only the project but the exclusive and limited edition bottle. It seems to be working since I was intruiged enough about adding a bottle to the collection of toys and collectibles in my studio that I took a spin through eBay and found a bottle on sale for $50. That is a little steep for me but it would look good next to my set of Tokyo Plastic figures

  3. Coca-Cola Light ALUMINUM BOTTLE Baum Pferdgarten DK

Triumph in Benelux Leads to Nordic Collaboration

From March through October 2009, Baum und Pferdgarten continue the collaboration with Coke light as the Coca-Cola light Fashion Campaign unfolds in the Nordic countries. The Danish contribution will include a limited-edition aluminum bottle featuring a 360º print of the Baum und Pferdgarten design that will be released exclusively in Denmark during the Copenhagen Spring 2010 Fashion Week.

Four European designers have created prints which will adorn the Coke light cans and bottles in Norway, Finland, Sweden and Denmark throughout 2009. The design by Baum und Pferdgarten will appear on more than 5 million products – plus the 45.000 limited-edition aluminium bottles made exclusively for Denmark. Baum und Pferdgarten was chosen as the sole contributor for the aluminium bottle 360º print.

The Nordic collaboration is a continuation from the success of the 2008 debut of 34 million cans and bottles that featured the design from Baum und Pferdgarten in Belgium, Luxemburg and the Netherlands.

Baum und Pferdgarten have created the geometric print inspired by a bird’s eye view of endless fields in beautiful shapes seen from an aeroplane approaching Copenhagen. With a little imagination these fields could be blooming with lavender, hyacinth and dahlia.

It is available in special stores cross the Denmark right now, but very hard to find.

About CINETRIP – and the summer

The Cinetrip series was launched on 1st January 1998, and has charmed the audience - having enough of the monotony of mundane and standardized parties - in exclusive water- and space-related locations ever since. The series offers soul-soothing and literally body-cherishing thematic programmes for anyone between 18 to 70, reaching the end of its Rudas season with the May Swimsuit Fiesta. But before the restart in October, the bath-holidays are continuing over the summer, what’s more, they will be specialised to some extent, so that each age group really finds the type of night bathing closest to their cultural and musical needs and tastes.

The first event of the spoken-word focused Babblin Bath will be featuring Hungarian author Lajos Parti Nagy – but over the next Lukács Bath plunges you will find English-language performers too. Fridays in July-August, an openair water-revu is awaiting different generations in Széchenyi Bath, while 18th July and 22nd August, the Plein air series is back in Siófok to provide exciting entertainment around lake Balaton.

Swimsuit or summer dress recommended, flip-flops/slippers a must and don’t forget your towel!
